DAY 1: Arrival
Arrive to Alta Badia on your own or private transfer on request.
Check into your 3* superior Family run Hotel – a tour briefing will be organized according to your arrival time.

DAY 2: Pralongia Plateau
Easy hike on the Pralongia Plateau (option to take the cable car). Stop in one of the mountain huts to taste some local specialties, while enjoying the wonderful view of the Marmolada Glacier, also called “The Queen of the Dolomites”. Hike back to your hotel. Hiking time 1 to 5 hours, depending on which itinerary you will choose.
In the evening, take a private transfer and enjoy your dinner in a typical farmhouse of the area.

DAY 3: WWI Area – overnight in a family run Rifugio – Via Ferrata Option
After a good breakfast, take a private transfer to the WWI site. Option to visit the WWI museum. Explore the First World War open air museum, with some of its reconstructed trenches and admire the stunning landscape of the UNESCO Dolomite mountains around you.
Have lunch in this special spot with an amazing view. In the afternoon, hike to the mountain inn, where you will spend the night or easier way, take the cable car.
Hiking time 1 to 5 hours, depending on which itinerary you will choose.

On request: option for a guided hike through the tunnels and for a “via ferrata” (fixed rope route) with a local English speaking certified UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guide.

DAY 4: Croda da Lago
After your experience in the hut, pick up your backpack and prepare yourself for a new walking day along the meadows, covered with mountain flowers and all around you the beautiful Tofana di Rozes, Cinque Torri, the Averau and Nuvolau mountains. Your final destination is a lake which calm and clean water reflect the marvelous surrounding peaks. Private transfer to Cortina d’Ampezzo.
