DAY 2: Explore the World War I area
Visit the open-air museum of the 1st World War and discover the marks of history in the trenches. It's an area of rare beauty, surrounded by towering mountains and it seems almost impossible that a World War was fought here - in the afternoon reach your mountain hut to spend the night.

DAY 3: Explore the Natural Park of Fanes-Sennes-Braies
Today start your hiking trip in the UNESCO Natural Park of Fanes-Sennes-Braies. Enjoy the silence of this place, you'll just hear the marmots whistling. Stop at the small lake you will find along the path and relax, then reach your mountain inn for the night. Option to shorten the route and take the bus for a stretch.

DAY 4: Sennes Alp
After a good breakfast, take the famous Alta Via path No. 1, which leads right through the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. Halfway, along the trail, take the chance to have lunch in a mountain hut and taste our Ladin cuisine. After lunch, go on with your walk and reach the mountain hut where you will spend the night.

DAY 5: Hike to Val Pusteria
After a hearty breakfast, backpack on your shoulders and start your new adventure. Possibility to reach the top of the mountain, called in our Ladin language "Sas dla Porta", from where you can see the biggest natural lake of the Dolomites, particular for its bright turquoise color - this lake is considered the most beautiful of all the UNESCO Dolomites. but now it's time to go down along the lake!
